Factors to Consider for web sales

Marketing Tools and a Way of  Thinking:
  • A Customer Mailing List of 1,000 names is a good place to start looking for increased sales. Use your normal advertising channels and add an announcement of your new web sites and address.
  • Look for Sales of 3 to 10% from your existing customer base, especially if your business is regional and it takes more than 15 minutes to drive to your store.
  • Use a Base Rate of 3 to 5% of your current Annual Gross to spend on a Web Presence - spend more if you want a more advanced site. Expect no profit the first year, but a decent profit after 3 years.
